L&F Jones Environmental
L&F Jones Foodservices are proud of our actions on sustainability issues, and have been committed to this philosophy for many years. Our commitment to protecting and enhancing the environment is central to the way we work. We recognise the urgent need to reduce greenhouse gas emissions within our business, as climate change continues to be one of the most challenging environmental issues we face.
To provide a rigorous approach to environmental management we regularly review our impacts and put in place the responsibilities, procedures, training and monitoring processes to manage them effectively.
In recent years we have maintained a focus on our corporate social responsibility and continued to invest in a wide range of practical sustainable initiatives which have significantly reduced our carbon footprint at our Midsomer Norton distribution centre. The details of future initiatives will be provided to the client.
Increasingly, customers are looking for suppliers with excellent sustainability credentials and this is an area where L&F Jones Foodservice can differentiate itself from its competitors by delivering this ethos in partnership with our supply chain. Collectively, we are aiming to make tomorrow a better place.
Through collaboration with our supply chain, we aim to minimise our negative impacts on the environment by reducing the amount of packing used and reducing the number and frequency of deliveries required. To provide a rigorous approach to environmental management we regularly review our impacts and put in place the responsibilities, procedures, training and monitoring processes to manage them effectively.
